Chemistry: ENTYMOLOGY
Entomology generally refers to the study of insects. Scientists working on Entomology discover all the known species of insects. Our earth has so many different species of insects. Most of the insects present on the earth surface are unknown to use but if you take a little interest in etymology, you will find out that there are more than 1.3 million species of insects that have been discovered till date. 400 million years ago, there were more number of interactions between other organisms present on earth and human being. As we reproduce and produce offspring in the same way insects do reproduce as well.
When insects belonging to two different species interact with each other, they give birth to new specie and lead to the formation of a new specie on the earth surface. The definition of etymology sometimes includes terrestrial animals as well. These different species of insects are studied so that human beings can figure out the harmful effects of such insects. Various harmful insects like mosquitoes are very dangerous or human being. They are carriers of bacterial and fungal disease and can cause poisonous diseases to us. Insects not only pose harm on human being but they cause a great harm to plants and other animals as well. They destroy most of the plants. The best way to protect agricultural plants and areas is to spray insecticides so that these harmful insects can stay away.
